ERASMUS+ I.D.E.A.! TOGETHER WE CAN

Em 2019/20 decorre o segundo ano de implementação do projeto Erasmus+ i.d.e.a. Together We Can!

O grupo de trabalho iniciou esta etapa do projeto celebrando os Erasmus Days19, em outubro passado, através de uma sessão aberta à comunidade que passou pela apresentação e divulgação das iniciativas concretizadas e de consciencialização para a importância de uma Cidadania Europeia.

De 11 a 15 de novembro decorreu o 4º Short-Term Joint Staff Training Event, desta feita em Zagreb na Croácia, englobando 16 professores, 8 alunos e 3 assistentes operacionais oriundos dos diferentes países parceiros.

A escola anfitriã Osnovna Skola Otona Ivekovica organizou uma agenda de trabalhos diversificada sob o lema Let’s Learn Together / The World of the Senses, e surpreendeu os participantes com apresentações musicais e encenações na língua de cada parceiro. Portugal foi melodicamente acolhido com uma interpretação de “Amar pelos Dois”, de Salvador Sobral, vencedor do festival da canção da Eurovisão 2018 (ouvir excerto abaixo).

No decorrer da semana, promoveu-se o convívio com docentes, alunos e pais croatas, apresentou-se o sistema educativo e de inclusão deste país, sessões de trabalho teórico-práticas, visitas de trabalho a diferentes estabelecimentos de ensino, proporcionando uma oportunidade de serem observadas práticas e opções metodológicas, recursos, equipamentos utilizados, necessidades e constrangimentos.

Da agenda de trabalhos constou ainda a visita ao Museum of Senses, Museum of Illusions, Typhlological Museum (deficiência visual) e Zoo - locais pedagogicamente explorados pelos docentes croatas para o desenvolvimento de competências sensoriais e/ou cognitivas e, consequentemente, inclusão de crianças e jovens.

Ao nível clínico, mas também pedagógico, visitamos a policlínica SUVAG - centro de diagnóstico e reabilitação para a deficiência auditiva - onde pudemos assistir a sessões de terapia da fala e aulas de Inglês e Matemática para crianças com deficiência auditiva / reabilitação após cirurgias de implante coclear, por exemplo.

Visitamos ainda a Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation Sciences, um espaço de formação superior com a particularidade de promover o ensino teórico em articulação com a prática pedagógica regular, em centros de reabilitação do país, escolas regulares e na sua própria valência clínica.

A referir, por fim os workshops Brain Gym e Mindfulness cujo objetivo foi a apresentação de práticas distintas, e pouco usuais, de relaxamento e concentração.

Uma agenda de trabalhos preenchida e variada que permitiu aos elementos deste projeto observar a Inclusão na Croácia, estabelecer paralelismos, ou não, com as suas realidades, e, no nosso caso, regressar a Aver-O-Mar com novas ideias e projetos.

2019/20 is the second year of implementation of the Erasmus + i.d.e.a. Together We Can!

The working group started this stage of the project by celebrating Erasmus Days19 last October, through a session open to the community that included the presentation and dissemination of the initiatives implemented and awareness of the importance of a European Citizenship.

From November 11-15, the 4th Short-Term Joint Staff Training Event took place in Zagreb, Croatia, comprising 16 teachers, 8 students and 3 operational assistants from different partner countries.

The host school Osnovna Skola Otona Ivekovica organized a diverse work agenda under the theme Let’s Learn Together / The World of the Senses, and surprised participants with musical and stage performances in each partner's language. Portugal was melodically welcomed with an interpretation of Salvador Sobral's “Amar os Dois”, winner of the Eurovision 2018 song contest (see video below).

In the course of the week, socializing with Croatian teachers, students and parents was promoted, the educational and inclusion system of this country was presented, we attended theoretical-practical sessions, work visits to different schools, providing an opportunity to observe good practices and methodological options, resources and equipments used, needs and constraints of inclusivness.

The agenda also included a visit to the Museum of Senses, Museum of Illusions, Typhlological Museum (visual impairment) and Zoo - places pedagogically explored by Croatian teachers for the development of sensory and / or cognitive skills and, consequently, the inclusion of children and young people.

Clinically speaking, but also pedagogically, we visited the polyclinic SUVAG - hearing impairment diagnosis and rehabilitation center - where we could attend speech therapy sessions and English and Math classes for hearing impaired children or in rehabilitation after cochlear implant surgery, for example.

We also visited the Faculty of Education and Rehabilitation Sciences, a place for higher education that promotes theoretical teaching together with regular pedagogical practice, in the country's rehabilitation centers, regular schools and in its own clinical valence.

Finally, we should mention the Brain Gym and Mindfulness workshops which objective was the presentation of different and unusual practices of relaxation and concentration.

A busy and varied agenda that allowed the elements of this project to observe Inclusion in Croatia, to establish parallels or not with their realities, and, in our case, to return to Aver-O-Mar with new ideas and projects.
